The St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture is gearing up to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) in St. Lucia later this year.
On Tuesday 4th May 2021, the inaugural GEW 2021 partners meeting took place via the Chamber’s zoom platform. Global Entrepreneurship Week will be observed from Monday 8th November 2021 to Sunday 14th November 2021.
Global Entrepreneurship Week is the world’s largest celebration of innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth, and expand human welfare.
Each November, for one week, entrepreneurs and innovators around the world celebrate with activities designed to bring like-minded individuals together. As the GEW community worldwide awaits the finalization of this year’s theme, the Chamber has made its move to commence early preparation for the GEW 2021 grand celebration.
A review of the GEW 2020 Virtual Series was tabled to highlight that despite the array of challenges posed by COVID-19 and all its consequential effects, the Chamber has remained, and will always remain committed to the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem locally.
