An exciting new tourism attraction has been established in the west coast village of Anse- la-Raye. It’s called Glittering Sands and it has opened just in time for what is expected to be a bumper cruise season.
It’s located just north of Anse-la-Raye Village –much to the delight of Tourism Minister and Parliament Representative Dominic Fedee.
This newest attraction comprises two beaches – one for lounging and sun bathing – the other – to the south – is a bit secluded and available for hosting private events.
This tourism development was made possible through
the collaboration of two investors.
Mr. Fedee commended Mr. Julian Adjodha, owner of a tour company – for his decision to invest in his own community of Anse-la-Raye.
He welcomed the employment of many young persons of Anse-la-Raye and highlighted other opportunities for local entrepreneurs.
Glittering Sands provides water sports services, a restaurant and bar, a souvenir shop and massage parlor.
The cruise industry has already committed to patronizing Glittering Sands; excited about its diversity, seclusion and tranquility. Glittering Sands is open to the general public.
