It’s another budget presentation cycle – a new session of Parliament opens tomorrow – with the Throne Speech and a debate on the estimates. This will be followed probably next week with the budget policy statements by the Prime Minister and the policy debate.

The Covid-19 vaccination drive continues throughout the country with over 15,000 receiving the first dose. Take the opportunity to get the vaccine. Every effort is being made to ensure it is available at a convenient location no matter where you live.  Wait time has been reduced significantly, so its a breeze.

Sadly though the number of deaths related to Covid-19 continues to rise – the last time we checked it was at 55!! Way too many. That is very concerning.

In the meantime here are this week’s main business stories.
