Caribbean Business Report for 16th March 2020

We’re entering uncharted seas with COVID-19 – an era where personal space / personal responsibility is redefined – unless you’re stuck at an airport in a mass crowd situation.

Since no one is exactly sure  how this is going to end, be aware – no handshakes, or even using the same pen to sign the register when entering or leaving public offices.

NEMAC is meeting from 9 this morning – the NTN has promised live coverage, so too Calabash TV.  An Address to the Nation is due this evening when the Prime Minister will detail further measures.

In the meantime avoid mass crowd situations and that too, unfortunately includes supermarkets where a lot of touching of products, carts and cards take place. Not preaching paranoia here but this is our new COVID-19 reality.–
