Generosity is the spirit of St. Lucia and Club Gar has captured that time and time again, and in 2019, they have raised $120,000 for Cerebral Palsy! Subscribe to the Calabash TV YouTube page for a comprehensive report to be uploaded this week.
And talking about uploading, we have the 2019 Tent Calypsoes uploaded there as well. If you have not been to the tents, then like, subscribe and share the Calabash TV Youtube Channel, to get a good feel for this year’s calypsoes! Stay grounded.
We are really and truly into carnival – with the communities – Soufriere and Vieux-Fort pushing ahead – Soufriere is promising a full carnival with costumed bands. The fetes are into full swing. So far so good.
Nothing to say on ICC World Cup cricket today – but the India schedule for their Caribbean tour has been finalised for early August. No matches slated for St. Lucia this time around.
Gilland Avril, the winner of the GET IN THE RING St. Lucia is now in Berlin at the Global Meet-Up. Let’s wish him lots of luck in that showdown in Germany.
