This is an historic week – as Joe Biden officially becomes PRESIDENT of the United States, with Kamala Harris of Caribbean/Jamaican heritage gets sworn-in as the first female Vice President.

For us here – the concern obviously is COVID-19 and community spread as the number of cases continues to rise, due to lack of regard for protocols and as the borders remain open to highly infected cities in the US and UK. Looks like we have to co-exist with COVID for sometime – so in the meantime -wear your masks in public, wash hands as often as possible and stay away from crowds. We have to get used to this new reality, it appears for the rest of the year. Everyone has to commit to the protocols.

Sad news this morning as we hear of the passing of Cultural Icon Charles Cadet. Our condolences to family, friends and the arts fraternity.
In the meantime here are the headlines for this week.
