Caribbean Business Report for 19th October 2020

Good day and many thanks for your interest in the Caribbean Business Report [PDF attached] or download at – our stories are also posted on the Calabash TV Facebook page.

Looks like we’re in for a week of good weather -and that means it is going to be brutally hot as well.

There’s no school this week, again a reminder that Covid-19 and the coronavirus is active in the community, so take no chances  – continue to wash hands, wear your face mask and social distance as much as possible.

And of course Dengue Fever which has claimed at least six lives in St. Vincent, including three students, and responsible for two deaths in St. Lucia is a very real and present danger. Walk around your house or business and eliminate all possible breeding sites for the mosquito. That includes some flower pots as well.

Three video news releases you should note -[all produced by All Biz] – first congratulations to the Jannou Credit Union, rolling out its credit card this month. See the report hereThe CIP has been rebranded as it reports its best year yet – here’s a report And this must see report from the Bankers Association as members visit a home in Dennery – here is that story
