Caribbean Business Report for 21st October 2019 – Welcome Home Levern Spencer

Congratulations to Levern Spencer, Olympian and high jump champion – GOLD medalist at the 2019 Panam Games. She returns home today as a St. Lucia Hotels and Tourism Association GOODWILL AMBASSADOR. Special welcome planned for her arrival this afternoon at Hewanorra International Airport. Commendations to the SLHTA for its initiative and recognition of Levern Spencer.
Here is a documentary produced to mark Levern’s 20 year service as a national athlete – an unmatched record for St. Lucia.
We must also commend St. Lucia Distillers – which has been exporting a St. Lucian product globally for many years – over 50 countries are importing Chairman’s Reserve and the other award-winning product lines. The marketing locally and international met in St. Lucia recently to discuss extending their reach -which has gone beyond the frozen reaches of Siberia! Here’s video news release on that.
