Caribbean Business Report for 23rd November 2020

Good day and many thanks for your interest in this week’s Caribbean Business Report [PDF attached] – can be downloaded at

This is a period when we need to be extra, extra careful with a record breaking spike in the number of cases. We were in the double digits when Barbados was close to 200 cases. Now we have broken that barrier and at about 220 closing in on Barbados at 259.

So we cannot stress enough the need to stick to the protocols – wear your mask and face shield if you have one; wash your hands frequently and maintain a social distance as much as possible. And stay home if there is really no need to venture out. Work from home if that is possible.

This week there is a Knowledge Fair organised by the Global Environment Fund. The key event is a Conference of Beekeepers staged by Caribbean Association of Beekeepers. Today there is a zoom meeting featuring outstanding St. Lucia intellectuals and thinkers.

That stream is starting this morning at 9:00 – you can go to YouTube or Facebook and search for GEF UNDP SGP Saint Lucia
