CARIBBEAN BUSINESS REPORT FOR 2ND MARCH 2020

It is a brand new month – and more anxieties about the coronavirus and its global impact. The Ministry of Health and the Tapion Hospital have been issuing advisories and tips on responses. Calabash TV has been running lower thirds all day with helpful advice – take a look when you get a chance.

It is going to be a very active month for the Chamber of Commerce – start-up entrepreneurs please note that applications are now open for GET IN THE RING ST. LUCIA 2020. Female entrepreneurs please get involved to ensure there is a gender balance that reflects the actual business landscape.

Also the Chamber has an Encounter planned for the south, and the Dale Carnegie Training programmes. Details are in the CBR but please visit the Chamber’s website for details. The address of the Managing Director of Republic Bank to Chamber members is available now – you can view it here

Our lead story has to do with an IMF country report on St. Lucia – it is highly recommended reading – the full report can be read here Congratulations to Caribbean Compass – it celebrating its Silver Jubilee -its 25th anniversary – serving the yachting and boating sector. See details in today’s CBR.–
