Congratulations to St. Lucian pilots Tevin Balasco and Kevin Spencer who are being celebrated –  two St. Lucian pilots in control of the cockpit for a US airline. See details in our report. This is a major achievement after their financial struggles to go through flight school.

If you love local mushrooms, well Massy has announced that its shelves will be stocked again from tomorrow – support the local economy, buy local. Congrats to Invest Saint Lucia for the introduction of BOOST in support of local entrepreneurs, and the SLDB is about to receive well over 5 million Euros for on-lending to SMEs.

We had a few walks over the holiday week-end – of course all efforts to promote a healthy lifestyle. One in Babonneau was in celebration of an 81 year old, Gregor Philgence. Up to last year he completed the Walk Around St. Lucia challenge. On Saturday he walked about 12 hours from Vieux-Fort to Cul-De-Sac and on Monday he did a two hour walk in Babonneau! Keep walking St. Lucia!
