Caribbean Business Report for 7th December 2020

Good day and many thanks for your interest and support for the Caribbean Business Report – a weekly [Monday morning] business e-newsletter -[PDF attached or can be read or downloaded at Our stories are also on the CalabashTV Facebook page.

We’re moving from one extreme to the next – lots of rain and flash flooding to a dry spell and a Christmas season with a difference. No staff parties, or Festival of Lights or Assou Square festivities. Let’s hope we can keep the community-spread of Covid-19 virus which started affecting humans just about a year ago.

Keep sanitizing your hands, social distancing and avoiding crowds. Covid is far from over with the US heading for its most devastating peak, January, February and March. It’s far from over! Take no chances.
Congratulations to 1st National Bank for winning yet another international award.

We must congratulate Sue Dyson and her team for another successful open ocean event – Chris Allshouse swam from Micoud to Smugglers Cove in just over twelve hours. You can watch the video on the Calabash TV YouTube and Facebook pages.

And we must welcome the new Managing Director at Bank of Saint Lucia – Mr. Rolf K. Phillips!
