The region’s varied culinary richness will be celebrated this holiday season as Travel Advisors Selling the Caribbean [TASC] hosts the inaugural 12 Days of Caribbean Cooking Festival.
It will highlight the food, rum and cultural traditions of the Caribbean during the Christmas season.
Kelly Fontenelle one of the key persons involved, says the TASC will showcase the culinary product by featuring a chef, baker, mixologists as well as the rums from different destination, as part of this promotional initiative.
Every day, celebrated Caribbean culinary artisans will prepare signature dishes using rums and ingredients that
are unique to the culture of the island that they represent.
They will demonstrate simple steps in making mouthwatering dishes that they whip up in just 30 minutes of cooking time. Recipes from the Festival will be featured in an e-book to promote the Caribbean.
The festival starts November 30th 2020.
