CDB Youth Business training programme launched

On Wednesday 9th December 2020, the Saint Lucia Youth Business Trust (SLYBT) officially commenced its final cohort of the Caribbean Development Bank supported regional pilot.

The training programme entitled “Strengthening the Entrepreneurial Spirit of Caribbean Youth,” is a collaborative effort with Youth Business International and is aimed at providing training and mentorship support to young entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 35.

The twenty (20) registered entrepreneurs will benefit from instruction in the areas of Idea Generation, Resource Management, Brand Development, Finance Management and Strategic Management which have all been carefully identified as key matters within the entrepreneurial, and wide business sphere.

Youth Business International trained facilitator Mr. Donovan Williams, in the coming weeks, will aid participants in building their capacities to create self- employment opportunities through, among other things, the provision of entrepreneurial training, finance and mentorship.
