The challenges faced within the Caribbean are well documented. A crucial part of Caribbean life is disaster preparedness in the home. However, what is the level of disaster preparedness within the diverse workplaces operating within this region?
In October/November 2020, PwC surveyed over 600 senior executives from organizations in seven countries in the Caribbean. The questions sought to gauge organizations’ digital readiness, enablers, and barriers to change, and priorities for the future. Only 15% believed that their digital fitness is on a par with or ahead of the leaders in their industry.
The question is, are we truly prepared here in Saint Lucia? Or are we operating in a reactive state?
