Learning series defining the future of destination weddings starts October 31st

Veteran Destination Wedding Planner Natalie John is mobilizing industry practitioners and experts in an effort to streamline protocols and best practice for the industry.

This is being done through a movement by Caribbean Wedding and Events Planners [CWEP] in anticipation of a new normal as islands in the Caribbean re-open after a prolonged shutdown forced by Covid-19.

Ms. John, who established Dreamy Weddings over two decades ago, has planned their first major event which is a “Dreamy Romance Series”. It is a virtual engagement that will explore recovery strategies and risk factors to be considered before planning an event under Covid-19 protocols.

The series which starts October 31st, will also see the launch of an e-book, authored by Ms. John, entitled “Covid-19 Protocols Guide for Weddings and Events”.

The event will feature a range of regional and international industry experts addressing the following topics:

  • “Resilience – Our Mental Check” by Dr. Glenda Niles
  • “Managing to Stay Afloat During a Pandemic” by Natalie John, Dreamy Weddings
  • “Connecting with your clients via Social Media” by Paula Coop Mc McCory, Pinterest Guru
  • “So You Think You’re Good Enough? How to get Published” by Dave Cox, Publisher Caribbean Bride Magazine.
  • “Navigating the Dynamics of Change” by Brian Green, Award Winning Event Planner
