Presh Productions receives Saltchuk-SLYBT Grant Award

The recipient for 2018-2019 is Benjamin Tomassin of Presh Production, a media production company established since 2014 which has shown significant growth and development in craftsmanship and business skills. 

Prior to applying for Grant Funding, Presh Productions was already well poised within the media industry as a contracted videography firm for Coconut Bay Resort & Spa, JQ Rodney Bay Mall and Wavemaker Photography.

The Saltchuk Grant Award Program of the Saint Lucia Chamber of Commerce and Youth Business Trust, financed by Tropical Shipping, Saltchuk Company has been awarding small grants to developing MSMEs of Saint Lucia since 2017. In addition, recipients of the award are assigned mentors who offer entrepreneurial support and networking linkages.

For the 2017-2018 funding period, Grant funds were disbursed to Mr. Denell Florius of EcoCarib Inc to further develop his Solar Renewable Energy Business. 

Subsequent to receiving the grant, Mr Tomassin upgraded his working equipment and he is now able to produce videos in an upgraded 4K quality. Clients of Presh Production have explicitly noted the improved quality of the the organization’s visual marketing standards. On the strength of quality and service, Presh Production has noted the increasing demand of their services and has since been able to create employment for two additional media professionals. Presh Production’s client portfolio has expanded to include Verve (Saint Lucia), Fuzion Mas, Arthur Allain, Baywalk Shopping Mall, H&H, Body+ and U4ria by Teddyson John.
