Sculptor Jallim Eudovic captures Ansa Foundation Prize

Noted St. Lucian artist and Goodwill Ambassador Jallim Eudovic has been awarded the 2020 Anthony N. Sabga Caribbean Award for Excellence in the category of Arts & Letters.

Eudovic is the second St. Lucian to be conferred with the prestigious designation of Caribbean Laureate, the first being Dr. Adrian Augier who won in the same category in 2010.

The annual awards are underwritten by the ANSA McAL Foundation headquartered in Trinidad and Tobago, and are the Caribbean’s most esteemed accolade given in the four areas ofArts & Letters, Science & Technology, Public & Civic Contribution, and Entrepreneurism.

The other 2020 Caribbean recipients were David Andrew Mendes of Guyana for Entrepreneurship; Dr. Olivene Burke of Jamaica for Public & Civic Contributions; and Dr. Shirin Haque of Trinidad& Tobago for Science & Technology.

The ANSA Caribbean Awards for Excellence recognize the exceptional achievement of individuals from

Barbados, Jamaica, Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago and the OECS.The Awards constitute the first and most generous recognition program of its kind initiated by a regional private sector foundation.
