Southern Business Association holds inaugural AGM on Wednesday at NDSC

The business community in the south of St. Lucia will meet on Wednesday November 6th for the inaugural Annual General Meeting of the Southern Business Association.

The meeting will take place at the NSDC Centre in Vieux-Fort from 10:0am under the theme, “Creating the Environment for Successful Business Growth in the South”. It forms part of the calendar of activities for Business Month.

The feature address will be delivered by Mr. Roderick Cherry, the CEO of Invest        St. Lucia.

The Southern Business Association is a legally registered entity with a growing membership of nearly 40 southern businesses. Its mission is to promote the development and economic prosperity of the South of St. Lucia, by providing advocacy, institutional support for small and medium businesses in areas of productivity, efficiency, quality, governance, technology, management and finance.

Over the past two years the SBA worked closely with stakeholder agencies such as the St. Lucia Coalition of Service Industries, the SBDC in the department of Commerce, The St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Invest St. Lucia, as it strives to build an organization which will become the voice of business in the south.
