St. Lucia Distillers and its export managers have been discussing strategies to extend the reach of its family of authentic rums and rum products.
The local sales and marketing staff met recently with export managers responsible for global distribution to compare notes as St. Lucian continues to redefine the rum market.
Benjamin Jones, the North American Managing Director says the meeting at the St. Lucia Distillers conference room not only celebrated the impact of St Lucian rums on the global market but also focused on capitalizing on the growing global demand for authentic Caribbean rums.
The strategy meeting was attended by the home-based sales and marketing team and the export managers responsible for getting St. Lucia rum products to over 50 countries globally.
Matthieu de Lassus, Export Manager of St. Lucia Distillers says the flagship product, Chairman’s Reserve is already established on markets in Europe and North America. There is currently a push into Africa and Asia.
Rum experts and bartenders globally have developed a new appreciation for authentic and exotic rums rich in culture. Leading the way is Chairman’s Reserve. The Russia Export Manager reported recently that the much sought after rum had made it all the way to a bar at the edge of Siberia.
The St. Lucia Export Managers are celebrating this achievement and fine-tuning strategies for getting more people around the world to savor the culture and spirit of St. Lucia.
