St. Lucia has today May 18th 2020 embarked on a new phase in re-opening the economy, but remains on guard and with strict protocols in place to check the spread of the coronavirus.
The Government of Saint Lucia has developed and published a Framework for Re-Opening the country amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. This framework serves as a guide for businesses and sectors of the economy to reopen safely whilst following all the necessary protocols to protect lives as we continue our battle against COVID-19.

The curfew hours have been reduced – starting at 9:00pm and ending at 5:00am.
Today’s re-opening is the third phase in the plan to return to the ‘new normal’
The fourth phase tentatively set for June 1st will impact gyms, sporting activities, bars, cinemas, and see the re-opening of the border with some regional and international travel.
