On Wednesday August 12, 2020, Global Enterprises Management Solutions LLC will collaborate with International Bamboo and Rattan Organisation INBAR for the first in what is expected to be a series of webinars on Bamboo which happens to be the national plant of Saint Lucia.
Wednesday’s webinar will focus on the topic “an introduction to Bamboo” and will run from 7 pm to 9 pm.
These webinars are geared towards positioning bamboo as a valuable local commodity which could reduce unemployment amongst youth and even create opportunities for entrepreneurs.
Bamboo can be used in the production of handicraft and furniture as well as for construction and environmental applications such as soil regeneration, water sources protection, soil erosion prevention, bioremediation, ecosystem services, carbon sequestration and climate change mitigation, among others.
