Youth Business Trust to host training for young entrepreneurs in September

The Saint Lucia Youth Business Trust (SLYBT), as partner to the Youth
Business International (YBI)
network will host the CDB-Supported Regional Project entitled, “Strengthening The Entrepreneurial Spirit of Caribbean Youth”. From Thursday 5th, September the SLYBT will host ten (10) three-hour training sessions throughout the month for young entrepreneurs who operate informal, micro and small businesses.

The Caribbean network of Youth Business Trusts has established and hosted several standard programs for young entrepreneurs across the region over the last decade. The network which includes, Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, Anguilla and Guyana Youth Business Trusts has consistently provided effective and efficient training opportunities and programs for young entrepreneurs. 

The initial phase of the CDB-Supported project will train only twenty (20) applicants from across the island in the entrepreneurial areas of: Idea Generation, Resource Management, Brand Development, Finance Management and Strategic Management.
